This handmade doll console is made of 6-ply poster board with a printed drawers and cabinet front. The top of the cabinet has been stained with a light oak stain. The inner make up of the console consists of expanded polystyrene foam board that makes it rigid and durable. The base of the console is made of 0.25 inch square wooden dowels. These four corner dowels extend upward to the top of the console and are securely glued into place against the styrofoam and 6-ply poster board making it very stable. In addition to this, additional wooden dowels have been added between each of the corner dowels for added strength. A small potted plant, which comes with the console, adds a splash of color.
